BKF Podcasts

BKF is now taking submissions to be interviewed on our podcast.

If you have a testimony that you would like to share, of how God has intervened and worked in and through your blended family, we would love to hear from you!

Blended Family Fun

Table 112: Lively Conversations

This week, Vanessa and Scott Martindale and their son, Michael, talk about talking. No, really!  It can be hard for either parents or teenagers to talk about real issues. They leave us with some insights about how they each contribute to having better conversations with each other.

Scott and Vanessa are the founders of Blended Kingdom Families, where they provide resources and encouragement for blended families. You’ll hear how faith, fun and rest are foundational in their family culture and fuel those meaningful talks in their family.

Together We Pray

Table 112: Lively Conversations

No one is untouched by current events. It's been a difficult year. I hope that you’re contributing something to the conversations in your places. I hope you're listening, too. I also thought that this is an important time for us to lean in to God together. So, I invited some friends to contribute a sentence prayer and we've compiled them here.

BKF Life Verse

“to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning,

the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness,

the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:3
